Simone Mueller is a retired Police Detective and a Licensed Private Investigator and has been working as an Investigator with Oracle Investigations Group since 2011. Simone has a Bachelor of Science degree in Police Management and Supervision from Union Institute and University.
Simone proudly served as a law enforcement professional for more than sixteen (16) years. During that time, Simone was afforded the opportunity to work a variety of assignments within the police department. Simone diligently performed the duties of a Patrol Corporal, Field Training Officer, Bicycle Patrol Officer, Detective and was also a member of the department’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team for five years. As a Detective, Simone primarily investigated crimes against children. She also investigated a variety of other cases including homicide, domestic violence, gangs, burglary, embezzlement, robbery, narcotics and fraud. Simone is also a court recognized expert in several disciplines. She has worked closely with partner law enforcement professionals throughout California and the United States. Simone has performed dignitary protection for a variety of individuals, including the Governor of California and the 2002 World Series Champion Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Simone is a Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) Certified Chemical Agent Instructor as well as a Bicycle Patrol Instructor. She has participated in hundreds of hours of formal training relating to police tactics, investigations, and interview and interrogations. She has also attended several supervisory and leadership courses and holds Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced POST certificates. Simone was recognized by the community she served as well as her supervisors for her professionalism, solid work ethic, and thorough investigative skills.
A highlight of Simone’s law enforcement career was working with local youth as an Advisor for the Police Explorer Program. For many years, Simone took great pride in mentoring and training these young adults as they prepared for their future careers. The Police Explorer Program helped keep many of the participants on the right track and out of gang activity. Simone also taught a law enforcement class at local high schools through the Regional Occupational Program.
Although Simone’s law enforcement career ended prematurely due to injury, her extensive training and experience relating to investigations and tactics has proven to be an invaluable asset for meeting the investigative and safety needs of California’s education community.
