Oracle Investigations Group was contacted to investigate the academic qualifications of a head administrator of a Los Angeles County school who was recently hired. The school retaining our agency stated that they had hired a reputable search firm to locate their new head administrator but had concerns that the search firm did not properly investigate the qualifications of the employee. Our investigators completed a comprehensive investigation and determined that the administrator had lied about having a doctoral degree and several other academic qualifications. The employee was determined to have a history of dishonesty and was immediately released by the school. This case serves as one of our agency’s highlighted investigations, as it emphasizes the importance of conducting thorough pre-employment background investigations on ALL new hires.
