Employee Contract Fraud – San Diego, CA

Oracle Investigations Group was retained to investigate allegations that the business manager of a San Diego area school had falsified the terms of his contract in order to receive a higher salary. Our investigators determined that the business manager had been asked to take a reduction in days worked and salary as a cost-savings measure for the school. The business manager falsified his personnel action form, circumventing the reduction in days. In addition, our investigators discovered that this same employee had falsified time cards, created and used school purchase accounts in the names of other school employees without authorization and forged school board meeting minutes. As a result of our investigation, the employee was terminated and our investigation report was forwarded to local law enforcement for review regarding criminal charges.
