An allegation was submitted to Oracle Investigations Group which claimed that a head coach at a local Los Angeles County High School held personal prejudices and racial bias towards his African-American athletes. In addition, the complainants alleged that the school had attempted to cover up the concerns submitted. Our investigations conducted a detailed analysis of the facts and determined that the head coach had acted appropriately and professionally during his tenure and interactions with student-athletes. It was also discovered during the investigation that one of the athletes had keyed the head coach’s personal vehicle after a basketball game and a criminal report was filed and the case was adjudicated. The Office of Civil Rights subsequently became involved in this matter and complimented the thorough work by our investigators in documenting all pertinent facts and statements during this investigation.
